Privacy & contact
This is a simple site to share a book and free practice scripts. There are no ads, no accounts, and no tracking. Here are the details.
Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
In plain terms: zerotosql.com is a static website. It doesn't set cookies, it doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no sign-up forms or accounts. You can read every page and download the practice scripts without giving up any personal information.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub automatically processes standard technical information when your browser requests a page — such as your IP address and browser type — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. That handling is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement. This site's owner does not receive, store, or have access to those logs.
The free SQL practice scripts are plain files you download directly. Downloading them collects no personal information and requires no sign-up.
If you email me, I'll have whatever you choose to send — your email address and the contents of your message. I use it only to reply and to improve the book (for example, adding a confirmed correction to the errata page). I don't add you to any mailing list and I don't share your message.
Some pages link to third-party sites such as Amazon (to buy the book) and browser SQL sandboxes like DB Fiddle (to run the scripts). Once you follow those links, the other site's own privacy policy applies.
If this site ever starts collecting information — for example, if a newsletter sign-up is added — this page will be updated first, with the date above.
